ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This 60-minute MCLE will provide a brief overview of the basics of litigating sexual harassment and discrimination claims. The program will then provide insight into how the #MeToo Movement and similar movements such as #WeSaidEnough have changed the traditional framework in which sexual harassment claims are brought, litigated and resolved. Finally, the program will discuss the impact that the #MeToo movement and similar movements have had on the legal profession.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Amber Phillips is a civil rights and employment litigator and trial attorney at Genie Harrison Law Firm, APC. Ms. Phillips specializes in discrimination, harassment and retaliation cases, including discrimination and harassment based on sex. Ms. Phillips has secured multimillion dollar settlements on behalf of her clients and endeavors daily to fulfill the mantra of her firm: to help victims recover. Ms. Phillips graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, summa cum laude, with a degree in Psychology and received her J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law.
